Dragon Fei was genuinely curious, though he guessed several times without success. Ye Qian, feeling triumphant, declared, “I knew you wouldn’t figure it out. Let me tell you the truth—this restaurant is mine!”

“What? Is it yours or someone else’s?” Dragon Fei didn’t think Ye Qian was joking; he was already half convinced.

Ye Qian grew anxious. “Are you looking down on me that much? Let me tell you, although the restaurant is now managed by people from the Ye Group, the original idea and investment were all mine. If you don’t believe me, ask my mother when you get home!”

Dragon Fei glanced at Ye Qian with some surprise, reassessing her with new respect. He had to admit, the restaurant was thriving, and its decor and concept were impressive. It seemed those who praised Ye Qian’s business acumen weren’t exaggerating after all.

Ye Qian was a bit frustrated. “Why don’t you believe me?”

“I believe you, I just didn’t expect you had such talent. You really surprised me!” Dragon Fei laughed.

“Now you know how formidable I am? I’m not just a pretty face. You’ll see—there are plenty of strengths you haven’t discovered yet!” Ye Qian was delighted, a little lightheaded from Dragon Fei’s praise.

Just then, a waiter brought over a thick red candle, with “love” and a heart carved into it. Dragon Fei grew anxious. “Hey, who ordered this?”

The waiter gave Dragon Fei a puzzled look, and Ye Qian quickly interjected, “I ordered it, please bring it over!”

After lighting the candle, the waiter walked over to the counter and whispered with the others, clearly surprised by Dragon Fei’s reaction.

Seeing some waiters pointing at him from afar, Dragon Fei grew uneasy and said hurriedly, “Ye Qian, what did you want with me? Doing this will make people misunderstand! Just tell me, and we can leave once you’ve said your piece!”

“What’s the rush? Are you so afraid of people getting the wrong idea? Hmph, we haven’t even eaten yet—let’s enjoy the meal and talk after.” As she spoke, the waiter began serving dishes.

A few appetizers arrived, and Dragon Fei nodded approvingly. The chef had skill; though the dishes were simple home-style stir-fries, each was exquisite, with vibrant colors and enticing aromas. While not quite up to his own standards, it was impressive nonetheless.

Dragon Fei took a few bites and praised the food. Ye Qian smiled with pride. “Well, what do you think? Isn’t the restaurant nice?”

Dragon Fei nodded and asked, “So what’s the real reason you invited me? You can tell me now; let’s talk while we eat.”

Ye Qian was still in no hurry. Smiling, she picked up a piece of shredded meat and held it near Dragon Fei’s mouth. He was startled by her intimate gesture, but to avoid attracting more attention, he obediently ate it, then quickly devoured the rest of his meal, not daring to look up. He figured if he finished eating quickly, Ye Qian would finally discuss her business with him, and once that was done, she’d let him leave. Only then would Dragon Fei feel at ease and natural. In this setting, had it been another beautiful woman, he might have been reluctant to leave, but Ye Qian was different—a little witch, and no matter how alluring she became, Dragon Fei preferred to keep his distance.

He finally finished his meal without savoring the flavors. Some students nearby frowned at his hurried eating, and a few boys whispered that Dragon Fei lacked any sense of romance, making Ye Qian feel embarrassed as she frowned at him.

When he looked up, he saw Ye Qian staring at him with dissatisfaction, and noticed several students watching his eating habits. Dragon Fei’s face flushed red as he lowered his voice, “Can you finally tell me what’s going on?”

Ye Qian leaned in, hesitated several times, and Dragon Fei, unable to bear it any longer, urged her again, “What is it you want to say? Just say it, stop keeping me in suspense. You’re driving me crazy.”

“I—I—I want to ask you if you can do me a favor?” Ye Qian rested her head on the table, her voice barely louder than a whisper.

Dragon Fei grew anxious. “Just tell me, what is it? I promise I’ll help.”

Ye Qian lifted her head, no longer caring about her sweaty brow, and said excitedly, “You said it—no backing out!”

“I won’t back out, just tell me. Is it fighting or something else?” Dragon Fei replied instinctively, as those seemed to be his specialties.

“No, neither. I want you to help me with this!” Ye Qian gestured, rubbing her hands lightly over her chest. What did she mean?

“What is it?” Dragon Fei didn’t understand.

“You said last time that you know how to enhance the bust,” Ye Qian said, growing impatient.

Dragon Fei was stunned, nearly shouting out loud.

Oh heavens, she couldn’t be serious—this little witch wanted him to help with bust enhancement?

“But I only know how to massage for that! You know, isn’t that a bit inappropriate? You haven’t even had a boyfriend, how could you ask me to do that?” Dragon Fei’s heart raced, his words trembling. He never imagined Ye Qian would bring up such a request.

Heavens, was happiness arriving too quickly? But he didn’t have the courage to help her with this; wasn’t this courting disaster, tempting fate right under a tiger’s nose? She’d surely tear him apart afterward.

Ye Qian bit her lip, her face flushed, and urgently said, “Didn’t I tell you at noon? From today on, you’re my boyfriend. In our class, only Li Yan and I don’t have boyfriends.”

Dragon Fei broke out in a cold sweat.

“But didn’t you used to dislike me?” Dragon Fei could imagine how irresistible Ye Qian would become after his help—she’d be a real enchantress. But the problem was, Ye Qian had the potential to be a real troublemaker. If things went wrong, he’d end up humiliated. Even if he managed to win her over, who knows how she’d retaliate if she saw him with another woman? One morning, he might wake up to find something missing—that would be the end.

Seeing Dragon Fei still looking troubled, Ye Qian felt genuinely aggrieved. “I don’t know how it happened, but I like you now. You have to agree today. You don’t realize how embarrassing it is for me, even if others don’t say anything, I know plenty of people laugh at me.”

Ye Qian began to act shamelessly.
