Chapter 137: Success in Planting Flowers
The night air outside the hospital room remained still, with a cool breeze gently swaying the curtains.
"Hehehe," Dong Qianqian giggled. "So that’s what you were leading up to? After all that talk, I never imagined you were such a talented storyteller. I bet you earned all your money writing fiction, didn't you? Do you even believe that yourself? Do you think I would? Ten women because of some ethereal nonsense? Why not a hundred or a thousand?"
Liu Yunfei felt like laughing at his own fabrication, but he maintained a somber expression, only a hint of a smile touching the corners of his mouth. He slowly extended his fist, quietly channeling the seven-colored spiritual energy he had absorbed from the spirit stone out of his body and into his palm. "I know you don't believe me, but I can show you the demonic soul within me. Just remember to keep it a secret; not even my parents or Xiaoli have seen this."
Dong Qianqian wavered, half-skeptical. People say seeing is believing; if he could truly show her something, perhaps she would believe him. Yet, she also thought the boy was just playing tricks, likely hiding some charm or talisman in his hand to fool her. Deep down, she felt a flicker of joy—if there was something he would only show her, it meant her status in his heart far exceeded the others.
Liu Yunfei maintained a calm smile, his brows slightly furrowed as he stared into Dong Qianqian's face and slowly opened his fingers.
The moment Liu Yunfei relaxed his hand, Dong Qianqian saw intense, seven-colored light radiating from between his fingers, illuminating her face so brightly she couldn't keep her eyes open. It was a type of light she had never seen before; even Hollywood movies could only achieve such effects with computer graphics. In reality, she couldn't imagine anything capable of emitting such brilliance.
As Liu Yunfei fully opened his hand, Dong Qianqian saw that it was some kind of flowing liquid. His hand remained perfectly steady, yet the liquid moved rhythmically, constantly shifting its vibrant colors. The light was so bright that the entire room became crystal clear. Dong Qianqian couldn't help but want to reach out and touch it.
"Don't move, or it will burrow into your body," Liu Yunfei warned, feigning mystery. Dong Qianqian was genuinely startled, quickly withdrawing her hand and covering her mouth. Her beautiful, wide eyes were fixed on the light, which cast a glow upon her face that made Liu Yunfei find her exceptionally enchanting.
"It's so beautiful," Dong Qianqian finally whispered after a long silence.
"The more beautiful something is, the more dangerous it usually is."
"Then why don't you throw it away?"
"I can't." Liu Yunfei turned his hand palm-down, but the shimmering liquid didn't fall; it remained adhered to his palm. "It will follow me forever. If I truly can live with ten women, these things won't harm me; instead, they will be at my disposal and obey me."
"Oh? Can you do it now?" Dong Qianqian was now completely convinced by Liu Yunfei's words. Her interest was piqued—girls have absolutely no resistance to beautiful things.
"A little bit. Let me try." Liu Yunfei flipped his hand and focused his intent.
Dong Qianqian watched as the seven-colored liquid began to churn like boiling water, surging from bottom to top. Then, a layer of the liquid slowly rose and hovered in mid-air, gathering in an orderly fashion to form characters. As more liquid floated up, the words became increasingly clear.
"It says, 'Qianqian, I love you,'" Dong Qianqian exclaimed in surprise. The seven-colored words hovered, constantly flowing and shifting like gorgeous fireworks in the high night sky. It was far more beautiful than any firework, and Dong Qianqian could get close to it without it fading away. She kicked off her shoes, stood on the bed, and jumped for joy like a child who had just received a beloved toy. Suddenly remembering something, she hugged Liu Yunfei's arm and pouted, "Does that mean if you get more women, you can control even more?"
"It's not just about getting them; it's about mutual love," Liu Yunfei added, pretending to be a gentleman.
"Then I..." Dong Qianqian shyly leaned her face against Liu Yunfei's arm.
Liu Yunfei would have been a fool not to understand her meaning. He turned his hand to withdraw the spiritual energy and continued the work they had started. Under the pure white moonlight and upon the pure white hospital bed, two intertwined bodies panted, moaned, and moved in rhythm. After a period of intense shivering, two faces appeared resting together under the moonlight.
"You bad person, you hurt me so much," Dong Qianqian teased coquettishly.
Looking at Dong Qianqian’s flushed, delicate face, Liu Yunfei kissed her forehead. "Baby, I’ll treat you well from now on. Even though I don't have just one girlfriend like others, I will treat you better than anyone else does."
"Did those souls get a little smaller?" Dong Qianqian asked with concern.
"They did. But you have to stay with me forever; once or twice isn't enough."
"I know. So, you have two girlfriends now and still need eight more. Do you want me to introduce some to you?" Dong Qianqian continued, still acting innocent.
"Uh, *cough*," Liu Yunfei hadn't expected her to think that way. He secretly regretted not saying twenty. Still, feeling a bit guilty for deceiving her, he kissed her red lips again and said, "These things can't be forced. I don't want to go looking for them; there's plenty of time."
It was a comfortable sleep. For once, Liu Yunfei didn't spend the night practicing his craft, but instead slept soundly, fully satisfied while holding Dong Qianqian. She was exhausted, too—having suffered from insomnia recently, she had finally found a shoulder to lean on and slept deeply, unaware of the hospital room door opening.
But Liu Yunfei heard the footsteps. It sounded like an intern nurse. Although he heard her, he couldn't move in time; waking up now would only make the situation more awkward, so he kept on feigning sleep.
The nurse had never expected to see such a scene. Seeing two bodies completely naked before her, along with the soiled and blood-stained sheets, she felt a surge of two emotions: anger and desire. She wanted to wake them up, scold them, and sternly remind them that this was a hospital and a public space.
Yet, as a young woman, the scene—something she had never witnessed before—also excited her. Though, as a nurse, she had seen men and women's anatomy frequently, the feeling of seeing it in this context was entirely different. The scene made her feel restless.
Liu Yunfei, however, was miserable. *Why won't she leave? What is she looking at? I wonder if she's pretty—would she want to be with me too?* As his thoughts wandered, the little guy couldn't help but react.
The very obvious change let the nurse know he was awake. Flustered, she turned and fled. Liu Yunfei opened his eyes to see a small figure; though she wasn't tall and had a petite build, she was well-proportioned. Liu Yunfei shamelessly thought: *I’m surrounded by model-like beauties; it wouldn't be bad to pick up someone as petite and delicate as that.*
After lingering in bed for a while longer, seeing that it was getting late, Liu Yunfei had to wake Dong Qianqian. "Let me sleep a little longer... my body is so sore. No, I don't want to get up."
Liu Yunfei patted Dong Qianqian's soft, white bottom. He hadn't expected that this girl, who looked so headstrong, could be so tender and clingy. Conquering this rose gave him a sense of accomplishment. A surge of heroic spirit welled up in him, and he couldn't help but recall the famous words of the great writer Gorky: "Let the beauties come more fiercely!"
Ignoring her pleas, he pulled her up and helped her put on her bra, panties, and clothes. In truth, helping a beauty get dressed was quite an exciting task—why else would those gaming sites have so many "dress-up" games?
"Are we dressed?" Dong Qianqian yawned again.
"Wait, let me put your shoes on." Liu Yunfei knelt down and placed her small, tender feet on his knees. Unexpectedly, Dong Qianqian began to play around, stepping on his sensitive parts with her small feet while casting him a mischievous, sideways glance.
Liu Yunfei let out a ragged breath. "You damn girl, you're killing me. Stop it, hurry up and roll up the sheets before the nurses see, and your mother is coming soon."
"No, I want to cut out the part with the blood. Women in ancient times used to keep it their whole lives."
"You're not a woman from ancient times! Isn't it dirty? Those ancient women only did that as evidence in case their husbands didn't believe them later. Get up, don't mess around, they'll be doing rounds soon."
"No, no!" Dong Qianqian insisted like a child. "It's our token of love. If you stop loving me in the future, I'll take it out and show you."
Only then did Liu Yunfei realize what she meant. She wasn't yet certain she had found happiness and was afraid Liu Yunfei would deceive her. Holding her tight, he comforted her, "Silly girl, that's destroying public property. Your token of love is that mole on your chest. How could I not love you? That's absolutely impossible."
After comforting Dong Qianqian, Liu Yunfei went to check on Old Dong. When passing the nurse's station, he purposely peeked to see if he could spot the intern nurse, but she was nowhere to be found—perhaps her shift had ended.
Old Dong was awake, likely knowing he would be discharged today. He was gazing toward the outside, and when he saw Liu Yunfei, he smiled happily. Liu Yunfei nodded back; it seemed the man had truly been granted a new lease on life.
