Li Bin had not yet decided how to deal with the three troublesome individuals when another message arrived from Shen Ling’s side. It said that the new troops from the Vast Green Leaf Alliance had already arrived, and judging by their strength, they were definitely no weaklings.

There was no need to see for himself; Li Bin already understood what Shen Ling meant by "not weak." He had heard the lingering roar of a dragon. Li Bin now only hoped it wouldn’t be like the previous encounters where large numbers of dragons appeared—otherwise, they would be doomed here.

Fortunately, luck was still on Li Bin’s side. This formidable force was merely a mixed unit led by a single Azure Dragon. Apart from that one dragon, the other troops were nothing extraordinary. Faced with such an enemy, a grim-faced Li Bin didn’t even bother to find out who their hero was. Instead, he said directly to Ted, “Send those three troublemakers to take on that Azure Dragon. Tell them whoever kills the dragon will be promoted to the main force. The rest fight independently.”

With that, Li Bin arranged for his men to handle the not-so-weak troops while he continued pondering how to deal with the three troublesome individuals.

Before Li Bin could come up with a plan, the battle ended. Sansheng triumphantly held up the Azure Dragon’s head, shouting excitedly, “See? I killed this dragon.” Yet Li Bin noticed Sui Feng was nowhere to be seen in the crowd and curiously asked Sansheng about it.

Sansheng laughed repeatedly and said, “That guy Sui Feng never stops until he kills the last enemy. He’s probably chasing down the fleeing troops now.”

“Chasing?” Li Bin immediately understood that Sui Feng’s skill had been activated again. Seeing that few of the Fearsome Knights were affected, he decided to ignore it.

Just then, Sui Feng dashed back swiftly, riding a black skeletal horse, shouting loudly, “Master, guess what I found.”

“What could you possibly find?” Li Bin rolled his eyes at Sui Feng but didn’t dismiss him entirely, seeing his decent combat ability.

“Master, I found a forest—an enormous forest!”

“A forest?” Li Bin was momentarily puzzled. They were already in a large forested area. What was so exciting about discovering another one?

But he quickly understood and called out loudly, “Where is this forest? Lead me there.”

Sui Feng promptly guided Li Bin toward the direction he had been chasing the enemy earlier. Not far along the way, Li Bin saw a natural archway formed from trees. Hanging above it were swords and blades carved from black wood—the Gate of Withered Trees.

This was a wilderness treasure house team dungeon. Only players and elite heroes or above could bring their hero units and troops freely inside.

The troops inside were randomly assigned.

At minimum, there would be three teams of level 9 Treants, and at most, level 12 Withered Wood Warriors might appear.

These Withered Wood Warriors were true level 12 units of the Nature faction. Compared to Treants, they were faster, stronger, could wield equipment and weapons, and even possessed some healing magic.

Yet, to Li Bin, they still had weaknesses—chief among them was their pride, which also gave them powerful root-based attacks.

Their attack range even exceeded that of Treant Elders of the same level.

Thinking this through, Li Bin laughed heartily and led his troops through the Gate of Withered Trees. Upon crossing the threshold, he felt himself transported into a forest clearing. As his troops settled, the surrounding trees blinked open their eyes and slowly rose from the ground.

Before Li Bin could issue any commands, Sui Feng excitedly shouted, “Fearsome Knights, prepare for battle!”

However, his words were promptly cut off by Ted’s heavy hammer. Ted said coldly, “Kid, I’m in charge here.”

Li Bin had already made his arrangements.

All curse mages and spectral lanterns clustered together, rapidly casting recklessly powerful curses on the Treants and Withered Wood Warriors slowly advancing toward them.

This stunned not only some Fearsome Knights who had been eager to fight the Treants but also the awakening Treants and Withered Wood Warriors themselves. No one expected Li Bin to weaponize their own signature ability against them.

But the tactic was flawless. The Withered Wood Warriors, who had initially hoped to crush Li Bin easily, became easy targets for him.

Soon, under the combined assault of Gru and Little Carter, all the Treants and Withered Wood Warriors were slain.

Looking at the pile of corpses, Li Bin calmly said, “As long as they don’t have a way to counter curses, the more battles like this, the better.”

His words made perfect sense. In such a short time, only a little time was wasted casting curses and shooting arrows. Li Bin hadn’t lost a single skeleton soldier yet had defeated three teams of Treants, two squads of century-old Treants, one squad of Treant Elders, and one squad of Withered Wood Warriors.

His battle experience surged dramatically, and it looked like he would level up soon.

The rewards from such a powerful treasure house were naturally impressive. Ten thousand coins, ten thousand units of mana, and ten units of various resources were just the basics. Truly valuable were the treasures guarded by such a large force of troops.

Besides three level-13 Azure Dragons, there was a building blueprint and a level-4 artifact called the Leaf of Life.

The blueprint was for a Nature faction’s Shimmering Garden, which could produce a unicorn variant—an eight-unit sparkling unicorn that could teleport once every fifteen minutes within a fifty-meter radius.

The Leaf of Life was an accessory artifact usually placed on a medbay tent. It not only increased the healing capacity of the tent during each treatment but also boosted the health of friendly troops within a five-hundred-meter radius by 100 points.

Having gained so many benefits, Li Bin’s gloomy mood vanished. He cheerfully told Sui Feng, “Don’t act alone anymore. Stick with Ted. If only you could always have such luck.”

Hearing this, Sui Feng perked up and quickly stayed by Ted’s side. Only Frostmourne looked gloomy, seemingly lost in thought.

After Li Bin and the others left the Gate of Withered Trees, Frostmourne quietly mounted his warhorse and fled alone in a certain direction.

Since Li Bin hadn’t paid special attention to the three troublesome figures, as long as Frostmourne didn’t run too far, the system notification was simply ignored by Li Bin.
