Chapter 138: A Guaranteed Windfall!
"Very well, then I shall kill you."
Ye Tian gave a cold smile. The Pure Yang Sword, which he had just retrieved, flew from his sleeve once more and pierced directly through his opponent's heart.
Before he died, Zhang Jiao’s eyes held only astonishment and bewilderment.
"If you want to die, I will grant your wish. Did you think I would turn soft and play the nice guy?"
He wanted to laugh.
Those who are not of one's own race are bound to have different hearts.
No matter how much Zhang Jiao acted like a Dragon Countryman, or even if he had once been one, the fact that he now chose to serve the Ability Alliance meant he deserved to die.
The Ability Alliance appeared righteous on the surface, constantly claiming to maintain international security. Yet, from their countless branches across the continents, it was clear their true intent was effective infiltration to facilitate the interference in other sovereign nations.
Their hearts were truly wicked!
Anyone working for the Ability Alliance was fundamentally wrong and deserved to be eliminated.
Pulling out the Pure Yang Sword, Ye Tian gave a wave of his hand and stored Zhang Jiao’s corpse into his pouch.
A body at the peak of the Second-Rank Martial King stage was too valuable to waste. He would eventually turn both it and Lucas into puppets—one to watch his house, and the other to serve as his personal bodyguard and meat shield.
*Ding.*
A crisp chime sounded; Gu Qing’er had sent a message.
"You need to come back soon!"
"Understood, I’ll be back shortly."

In the Peninsula Republic, the high command in Han City.
In the emergency conference room.
"This Ye Tian is ruthless; he actually broke into the Ability Alliance and killed three Martial Kings!"
"He is utterly arrogant, holding no regard for our Peninsula Republic at all!"
A high-ranking official gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with terror.
Compared to the Dragon Country, their Peninsula Republic was nothing more than a tiny speck of land. Not only was spiritual energy thin, but the number of talented prodigies born there was pitifully small.
A single Martial King required them to exhaust all their resources just to cultivate!
Even a low-rank Martial King was the absolute pinnacle of force in their country; for instance, the current President’s bodyguard was a First-Rank Martial King, an existence treated like a grand high priest in their nation.
It was only because the Ability Alliance and the United States military were stationed there that their little corner of the world enjoyed a temporary sense of security.
Otherwise, given the strength of the Peninsula Republic and their usual arrogant and domineering behavior, any major power could easily level their territory to the ground.
To the Peninsula leadership, the Martial Kings of the Ability Alliance were their patrons!
Therefore, even though it was the Ability Alliance’s experts who had been lost, the Koreans were still furious.
This Ye Tian dared to kill their patrons—it was unforgivable!

"We have already contacted the Ability Alliance headquarters. They said they will send someone to deal with Ye Tian immediately!"
"They should arrive within three days!"
Three days?
Upon hearing this, the officials in the room, including the President, were shocked.
Three days?
By the time someone arrived in three days, Ye Tian would likely have turned their entire country upside down!
"No, that’s too slow! Urge them to hurry!" President Park frowned, thinking to himself that the Ability Alliance cared little for their survival.
"Tell them that we cannot stop Ye Tian. If they don't come sooner, we will have no choice but to let him go!"
"This Ability Alliance is becoming more and more outrageous!"
"Exactly! And the United States too—they withdrew their troops without our consent. Without those troops stationed here, how can our national security be guaranteed?"
For a time, the conference room was chaotic, resembling a tea party of elementary school students.
However, news soon arrived from the Ability Alliance again.
The gist was that the headquarters currently had no personnel above the Third-Rank Martial King level available. The nearest high-rank Martial King willing to take orders was currently ice fishing in the Arctic!
Even if they dispatched a special plane to fetch him, it would take at least two days.
"Damn it!"
The President slammed his fist on the table, and the conference room fell into a terrified silence.
"These people from the Ability Alliance are truly unreliable; they actually have the leisure to go ice fishing!"
Just then, the strategist who had been silent throughout the meeting had a flash of inspiration and raised a hand to interrupt:
"President, calm your anger. Since the Ability Alliance is failing us, I have a plan!"
"Why don't we take the initiative and offer to put Ye Tian on a plane back to the Dragon Country?"
"As far as I know, even a Martial King would die if they fell from ten thousand meters, wouldn't they?"
When these words were spoken, the eyes of the officials present lit up.
"That is a great plan!"
The Peninsula President was overjoyed: "What are we waiting for? Execute it! Do you want to wait until Ye Tian destroys the order of our cities?!"
Half an hour later.
A call reached Ye Tian's phone.
"Hello, is this the honorable Mr. Ye Tian?"
The caller ID showed a number from the Peninsula Republic, and he frowned.
To be a local and yet speak such standard Dragon Country language—this was not simple.
"Who are you? Why are you calling me?"
"It is like this: we are the Dragon Country diplomats for the Peninsula Republic. Mr. Ye, you have graced us with your presence, and our country has failed to host you properly. We apologize!"
"Therefore, our President has specifically ordered me to invite you to the Presidential Palace for a gathering."
"We will welcome you with the highest standard of hospitality. Once you have been wined and dined, the President will even dispatch his private jet to send you back to your country!"
So generous?
Hearing these tempting terms, Ye Tian felt a stir of interest. He hadn't expected these Koreans to be so accommodating.
After all, he had broken into their country and killed people without permission. Although he had killed a department head of the Ability Alliance, it was clearly a sign of disrespect toward them.
However, when things go unexpectedly, there is usually a demon at play. The Koreans were known for being petty, and this could very well be a trap.
Thus, he replied indifferently: "Forget it. I'm in a hurry to get back."
A panicked voice came from the other end, accompanied by rustling sounds: "Ah, you are leaving already?"
"What else? Stay here in your backwater place and eat kimchi?" Ye Tian sneered.
"No need for trouble. I've already bought a plane ticket. Just tell the visa inspectors not to stop me."
With that, he hung up the phone.
"What do we do? What do we do!"
What Ye Tian did not know was that because of his words, the entire Peninsula leadership had fallen into a panic.
"The trick didn't work. He didn't fall for it at all!"
"Are we just supposed to watch him leave and swallow this insult alive?" the President asked, anxious and furious.
The Peninsula strategist pondered:
"Since he won't get on our plane, we will blow up the one he is sitting on!"
"What!"
Hearing this outrageous proposal, shocked gazes came from every corner of the room.
"That plane is filled with countless innocent passengers, and the vast majority are our own citizens! Have you lost your mind?"
The President was absolutely stunned. He could not fathom how his strategist could say such a thing.
"So what!"
"A few hundred people in exchange for a young Martial King from the Dragon Country—isn't that a wildly profitable deal?"

The conference room fell into silence once more. This time, no one spoke.
