Volume One, Chapter Four: Everything Is the Best Arrangement
“You don’t know the truth of what happened, so keep your opinions to yourselves,” Qin Yu said sharply. “Back then, her parents were busy with work and left her to look after her three-year-old sister. The younger sister had a hernia since she was little and couldn’t cry loudly. The older sister only went to the amusement park to soothe her. And because she blamed herself so much, she fell seriously ill and lost all her memories.”
In the older sister’s fortune: If her sister went missing, she would live with guilt for the rest of her life and die in sorrow. If her sister did not go missing, then due to the overprotectiveness caused by the hernia, the younger sister would always hold her back.
Some people are simply destined to clash, yet fate deliberately arranged for these two to exist in the same family.
“Hernias are actually quite scary. My relative had one—it was terrifying.”
“When I was little, I raised my younger brother too! And I’m only three years older than him. Why didn’t I lose him?”
“Hey, the times were different then. Can you expect children to be the same now as they were back then? Try looking at things with a modern perspective.”
“Aren’t we in a metaphysics livestream? Why did I just hear a line from Marxist philosophy?”
“How is my little sister now?”
The older sister, who had been silent all along, finally spoke, as if she had fully come to terms with having a younger sister.
“She’s doing very well. She’s living in a wealthy family now, and her hernia has been treated.”
“Then why did she call out for my help?!”
“That’s your own guilt at work. The kidnappers noticed her hernia and, afraid she wouldn’t survive long enough to be sold, abandoned her on the roadside. Later, she was adopted by a kind, wealthy family. If you’d like to meet her, I can send you her address privately.”
“Yes!” Tears shimmered in the young woman’s eyes.
“But you must promise me this: everything is as it should be—do not disturb each other’s lives.”
Just as this young woman had met her, everything was part of the best possible arrangement.
The young woman nodded vigorously, “Thank you, sister, I understand!”
“Then I wish you top marks in your college entrance exams!”
Though her face was not visible, a faint smile played on Qin Yu’s lips.
“Wuwuwu, everything really is for the best. The story just reached a new height!”
“Human traffickers deserve to die!”
“Agreed!”
“Our host is so kind, comforting that girl!”
“I don’t buy it! Still feels scripted to me!”
“You’re the only one stubborn enough to keep doubting!”
What happened next:
The older sister’s family found the younger sister using the address Qin Yu provided.
From behind the fence, they saw the little sister in a princess dress, playing the violin in the garden, her music flowing with happiness.
Only then did the older sister truly understand what it meant for everything to be for the best.
Freed from guilt, she was admitted to her dream university and would go on to live a simple but fulfilling life.

…
For a moment, the screen was filled with gifts.
The number of viewers in the livestream soared to over a thousand.
A video call request appeared in Qin Yu’s backstage interface.
It was from Pink Memories.
Qin Yu answered immediately.
The woman in the video had eyes swollen like walnuts—she had clearly cried all night.
“Master Dianqiu, I know everything now.”
Just thinking of the baby girl soaked in a jar, head full of silver needles, made the woman’s heart ache unbearably.
“What kind of secret are you all talking about?”
“Is there something we, as family, shouldn’t hear?”
“Now I’m even more curious—what exactly did you find out?”
“You…”
“So you’re the one who encouraged my daughter-in-law to abort the child, aren’t you? You’re the murderer of my grandson. I’m going to report you!”
Before Qin Yu could reply, a middle-aged woman barged in, brandishing her hands and yelling at the phone.
It was the woman’s mother-in-law.
The pregnant woman tried to stop her, but being heavily pregnant, she was no match for her mother-in-law and nearly got pushed over in the attempt.
“Nobody made me do it! I know everything you’ve done! I must get rid of this child!”
“If you know, then you should understand how precious the boy in your womb is. You should cherish him more! How could you abort him? That’s my precious grandson!”
“But the one soaking in that jar under your bed is also my child—your granddaughter!”
“Only boys can carry on the family line. Girls are just a burden!”
“Enough! Regardless of gender, they’re all my children—my treasures!”
“This mother-in-law’s values are truly shocking.”
“Did I just hear that the mother-in-law kept two baby girls in jars under the bed?”
“Stop, or I’ll have nightmares tonight.”
“Pink Memories is so brave. A mother’s love is really great.”
“Does anyone else think something’s wrong with her?”
“Blood—there’s blood!”
The woman, drenched in cold sweat, clung to the bed and laughed with a touch of madness. “I took abortion pills this morning. I won’t be having this child!”
Her mother-in-law forgot all about the phone, rushing over in panic, shouting, “My precious grandson, nothing must happen to you!”
The phone crashed to the floor, showing nothing but the white ceiling.
“Pink Memories, listen carefully. The bond between you and your daughter is not over yet. If you sincerely recite the Rebirth Sutra for her every day from now on, within three years, she will come to find you again.”
“Alright, th-thank you, Master Dianqiu.”
Qin Yu ended the video call.
“It’s my first time seeing a live birth—what should I be aware of?”
“My eyes can no longer believe this is all scripted.”
“I just tuned in—what happened?”
“Don’t worry, upstairs. It was only a baby girl in a jar and a miscarriage, that’s all.”
“Am I the only one worried about Pink Memories?”
“Will her mother-in-law get her to the hospital in time?”
“Before the video cut off, I think I heard an ambulance.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Master Dianqiu, Fairy Dianqiu, Sister Dianqiu, Pink Memories will be alright, won’t she?”
“She’s fine. Before she got on the call, I dialed 911. She’s already in the ambulance.”
“Master, you’re amazing.”
“Guys, who understands this? I came here to debunk things, but now I’m starting to believe.”
“You’re not alone.”
Bro Lei sent a full-body bow.
Pink Hairdryer sent a little star.
Sister Juan sent 666.
